Navrasa Duende Pvt. Ltd. presents Jazz + @ Navrasa Duende 2018

Peter learned how to play the instrument at the same age he learned how to walk and talk. It’s as integral to him as the bare essential elements of life. “It wasn’t something that I ever thought about doing, it was just something I did,” he recalls. “And as I got older, I consciously walked the line of learning more and learning too much. The minute it gets too cerebral, it’s over.”. A born and bred New York Yorker of Italian descent, Cincotti spent much his childhood going to school during the day and playing clubs at night. Legendary music producer Phil Ramone was there one of those nights, a discovery that led Ramone to produce Peter’s debut album which reached #1 on the Billboard jazz charts, making 18-year old Cincotti the youngest artist ever to do so.

The son of legendary singer-songwriter Jim Croce, A.J. Croce’s career began with his first tour at age 18 opening up for B.B. King. In the span of a 20+-year career, A.J. has headlined festivals, concerts, and major listening venues worldwide. He has been seen and heard on shows including Jay Leno, David Letterman, Conan O’Brien, Austin City Limits, Good Morning America, E!, and CNN, and he has shared the stage with an innumerable list of eclectic artists from Willie Nelson to Ray Charles, Béla Fleck to James Brown, Lyle Lovett to Morphine, and Rod Stewart to Ben Harper. A loyal and appreciative audience and glowing press from Rolling Stone to the New York Times confirms the appeal of A.J’s genre-spanning music, with six of his albums positioned in various radio charts including Top 40, AAA, Americana, College, and Jazz. An ivory-searing New Orleans piano style established an essential juju, but his exploratory pop gems revealed a spectrum of influences from art rock to Americana and beyond.

Louiz Banks has been spearheading the Jazz Movement in India for the past three decades. He has been singularly instrumental in bringing a high standard of Jazz performance for jazz devotees in India. Apart from playing Jazz, he is the most sought-after composer for advertising commercials, TV Serials, TV Themes, Curtain Raisers, Anthems Documentaries, Stage Musicals, Film Background scores, popular and Hindi Music. He has proved his calibre, time and again, by performances with greats such as Eddie Henderson, Eddie Daniels, Charlie Mariano, Yolande Bavan, John McLaughlin, Tony Lakatos, Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia, George Brooks , Wallace Roney , Bob Belden , Roseanna Vitro , Carl Clements, India's best jazz singer Pam Crain, World renowned South Indian Classical Singer Ramamani, World Percussionist Sivamani, Ustad Zakir Husain, Shankar Mahadevan, the eminent Sultan Khan, among others and crowning it all with a tour all over India with the legendary Dizzy Gillespie. When he is not playing music he paints impressionistic canvases in oil and acrylic
